Located in the heart of Delmas, Mpumalanga, the company has served the local community and surrounding areas since 1985 with quality products and sincere service.

The business was founded by Christoffel Johannes (Chris) Berrangé, a man whose passion for agriculture and deep knowledge of the seed industry made him a respected figure in the region. Grandpa Chris believed from the beginning in honest trade, practical expertise, and relationships that build — not just profit. What he started as a local seed supplier has over the years grown into a sustainable business with a direct impact on the success of many farmers.

After his passing in 2015, his daughter, Elanie Hugo, took over the reins and carried the business forward with dignity and determination. Under her leadership, Tannie Rina, who also worked for Grandpa Chris, managed the company, and the company not only continued but grew — and the core values of reliability, service, and quality remained strong.

At the end of 2023, Lanike, Grandpa Chris’s granddaughter, and her husband, Diek Prinsloo, joined the business as the third generation to carry the family legacy forward. They wholeheartedly embraced the responsibility not just to run a business, but to protect, grow, and renew a legacy.

For Diek and Lanike, Delmas Saad and Products is not merely an economic venture — it is a faith-driven mission. They build passionately on the foundation laid by Grandpa Chris, firmly believing that their path is anchored in God’s grace. They are proudly Afrikaans, honest in their work, and have a heart for people — from farmers and farmworkers to households and businesses.

The business has been housed in several premises in Delmas over the years but has found its home for the past ten years at 47 3rd Street — a building that today stands as a symbol of stability, growth, and hope for the future.

Diek Prinsloo, who now walks in the footsteps of his late grandfather-in-law, also carries a passion for the agricultural industry and is actively involved in daily operations. With his practical mindset and dedicated heart, he lives out the wisdom and insights that Grandpa Chris demonstrated with so much love and dedication over the years.
